“Sabon No Yuwaku” Music Video ~Behind The Scene~

The full version of the music video  for “Sabon No Yuwaku”, from YANAKIKU’s long awaited first album(released on March 4th), has been uploaded.
Take a peek behind the scenes!  Welcome to the seductive world of “Sabon No Yakata (chateau).”

For some reason, it rains almost every time YANAKIKU decides to go into a shoot.
We’re not sure who the rain bringer is in the team, but this day, it not only rained but snowed.

From snow to rain, the weather became a light drizzle.  Time to shoot!
Starting with this scene.

Who’s smiling from behind all that greenery?

Shots of KIKU wiping down the floor with a rag.  She’s so adorable!

The Next scene is with Yana.

Who noticed the names on the welcoming board?
The right one reads “YANAKIKU” and the left board is a collective of kanji from each member of our talented crew.   The first kanji “” is taken form the cameraman Yoichi, “光遊is taken from the super lighting crew, Hikari Asobi , which literally means “light playing”, and the last kanji “” is taken from LOOP,  which headed all of the artwork in the video.
So many ideas were incorporated in the details of this music video!

It was snowing this day, so obviously it was beyond cold for our girls wearing KIMOCOS.
But being the fighters that they are, they stuck in out.

A shot of our super hair-make artist, Ms. Taniguchi, refining Yana’s make up.

This loveable “moe” scene with Kiku getting things prepared !
“ah- busy busy busy♪”

Getting ready for the next shot!

KIKU:「YANA、

KIKU”YANA, how that ‘thing’ coming along?”
YANA”Just about done♡”

WE are YANAKIKU!

The enchanting Ms. Yana. Only she can make an umbrella look that sexy.

750 yen (plus tax).

And the theme behind this song is bubbles.
Apparently it’s harder than it looks.
The two get their time in to practice.

And! The main scene for the chorus at the bath area.
Of course the bath itself looked great on it’s own with the tiles and designer tub, but with the support of Hikari Asobi’s lighting, some dried ice, and lots and lots of bubbles…
The place transformed into a set that looked like something straight out of a Japanese fairytale.

The set fit the song perfectly!  It was so dreamy.

FYI, “Sabon No Yuwaku” was shot at “HOMEIKAN”, located in the Bonkyou ward of Tokyo.   It was registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan in 2000.The moment we arrived at the chateau, we felt refreshed.  It was definitely a step away from everyday Tokyo life.  During the Meiji era it was a lodging house. In the Showa era, it transformed itself into a Japanese style hotel, without losing any of it’s  historical aspects.  These old yet stand out Japanese traits seem to be the reason tourists from all around the world still come to visit yearly.  It was a treat for even all of us living here, so for all of you out there who have the chance to visit, we strongly recommend it!
